Gutter Calculator
Gutter Damage- Use this calculator to add f9 note specifying what amount of the line item is for gutters and downspouts each
Enter feet of gutter & downspout and then Paste clipboard into f9 note
Example:
** Note : 44 Feet of Gutter and 15 feet of Downspout for a Total of 59 feet of gutter allowance on this elevation
Wind Calculator
Wind Damage- Use to create f9 note for the amount of shingles allowed for repair
Enter number of damaged shingles, number of damaged vents, and how many shingles are included in the allowance for each repair (3 is a common repair factor allowance)
Example:
** Note: Above line item is an allowance of 3 shingles to repair each Wind Damaged shingle, and each Vent 12 damaged shingles & 6 Damaged vents @ 3 Shingles each - Total of 54 Shingles
IWS Calculator
IWS- Enter width of eave, Pitch of roof, length of eave, code distance from inside wall, Roof Sf, Valley if any, Hit submit and use the numbers and clipboard notes for the IWS & Felt lines in xact
Where to get each number:
- Eave Width - From ClaimMate roof macro photos
- Pitch - From ClaimMate roof macro photos
- Length of eave - In Xact type “Eave“ in the quantity section of the line item inside the roof sketch
- Distance from inside wall - Code is commonly 24’ from inside plus the thickness of the wall(Usually 6”)
- Roof Sf – Change quantity in line item in xact to sq
- Valley (if any) -Change quantity in Xact line item to “VAL”
